Salary: £23,121.00 to £24,462.00 per annum (pro-rata) plus 14.14% weekend enhancement and a 20% shift allowance as applicable. This takes the salary to £31,014.00 to £32,813.00 per annum (pro-rata).

West Yorkshire Police is looking to recruit a PNC Officer based in the Police National Computer (PNC) Bureau, Wakefield. The role will provide a comprehensive update and extraction service for the Force in relation to the PNC, including an international alert service between West Yorkshire Police and other EU and non-EU countries.

To be considered for this role, you must have a good working knowledge of computerised databases and be capable of completing IT courses required for the role. Additionally, you will need a keen eye for detail and be able to recognise inconsistencies in information.

You must be prepared to work flexible hours to suit the requirements of the department and be able to work unsupervised. The role will be on a shift rota covering 24 hours, 365 days a year following the FSDR shift pattern. The role is suitable for agile working. Once trained and competent, the appointed applicant will be able to apply to work from home.

This role attracts 20% shift allowance plus weekend enhancements, as applicable.
