Nominal Management Team (NMT) Visor Officer
Counter Terrorism Policing – North East (CTP NE)

1 x Permanent Full-Time Position

An excellent opportunity has arisen to play a key role in a unique team, supporting the work of Counter Terrorism Policing.

In this role you will provide expert advice and guidance in relation to CT Nominal Management VISOR and Register Terrorist Offender legislation, both internally and externally, and to identify and assess potentially dangerous persons or those of CT Interest.

To be considered for the post, can you answer yes to the following questions?

• Do you have experience within an intelligence environment and/or experience of research?
• Do you also have experience in the field of offender management or a closely related field?
• Do you have excellent communication skills both oral and written?
• Are you willing and able to successfully complete the IT courses required for the role?
• Can you demonstrate experience of analysing complex data accurately and maintaining systems in a timely fashion?
• Do you have basic knowledge of the Data Protection Act and an awareness of the National Intelligence Model?
• Do you hold a full UK/European driving licence and are you willing to travel across the region and nationally for business purposes?
• Are you prepared to work such hours as the role demands with changes to duty at short notice?
• Are you prepared to undergo enhanced vetting?
