Multi Agency Risk Coordinator

This post is fixed term for up to 12 months, maternity cover.

The successful post holder will be the central point of contact for MARAC related enquiries involving both internal and partner agencies.

The post holder will undertake research into new cases using a diverse range of sources including computerised systems in order to analyse intelligence, incidents and crime information to identify links between the data and domestic abuse incident.

You will prepare factual reports and maintain liaison with all partner agencies before identifying new and appropriate members for the scheme and securing from these members their commitment and subsequent consistent attendance on the MARAC scheme.

Your work will also involve using the information you have gleaned to contribute towards action plans and performance data and use your knowledge as the basis for recommendations to the MARAC chair/Strategic group to improve the effectiveness of the scheme.

You will also have a keen understanding of clerical and administrative processes to ensure that all deadlines are met and all relevant documentation is produced in a timely fashion for meetings and that offender’s court dates are monitored for communication with victims, partner agencies and staff members as appropriate.
