We have an exciting opportunity just for you, working within Counter Terrorism Policing Team. We want people who enjoy working as part of team, but also have the self-motivation to work independently. You will conduct digital forensic investigations of all digital devices to obtain evidence and intelligence in support of regional, national and international counter terrorism policing

To be considered for this post can you answer yes to the following questions?

• Do you possess a thorough working knowledge and expertise of common operating systems, applications, basic network technologies and internet technologies?
• Do you have a degree in Computer Science/Forensic Computing Studies or equivalent qualification in digital forensics and/or significant proven relevant experience/training in these fields?
• Do you have an ability to attend and successfully complete the Tier 1 core courses in relation to the recovery and analysis of digital evidence, as specified by the National CT Digital Investigations Training Pathway?
• Are you willing and able to travel for business purposes, regionally, nationally & internationally, possibly for extended periods?
• Are you willing and able to work unsociable hours, provide 24 hour cover if necessary and have the ability to change hours at short notice?

If you have answered yes to the above questions, then this role could be for you.
