We are looking to recruit a Clerk / Typist to join the Yorkshire and Humber Region.

The Yorkshire and Humber Region is an amalgamation of diverse crime areas including Organised crime, Cyber Crime and Financial investigations. The Region has the responsibility for the management and disruption of a number of OCGs (Organised Crime Groups), focusing their work on those that present the greatest threat, risk and harm to the public within West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, South Yorkshire and Humberside. The offences investigated vary between firearms, large scale drugs supply, criminality involving use of vulnerable persons, economic crime and cyber related offences.

As part of this specialised investigation team, you will assistant in the transcribing of interviews, preparation of documents for court files, scanning, recording minutes from meetings to support to teams within the YH ROCU.

We are offering this opportunity to candidates who have office based experience, hold RSA 11 or equivalent and have a good working knowledge of computer packages.

You will also be required to successfully complete other relevant training courses required for the role.
