West Yorkshire Police are looking to appoint a Clerical Officer to join the Prosecutions & Casualty Prevention Unit based in Bradford to provide an efficient and effective administrative support function to the Unit in accordance with policy and legislation to meet the needs of the Organization.

The Role

In this role, you will work as an integral part of West Yorkshire Casualty Prevention Unit. The role involves providing an effective administrative support function, working within a demanding and fast-paced multi-disciplinary unit. Your tasks will include the process of large volumes of internal and external mail, scanning, input and process of information and general clerical duties, working within legislation, policy, and best practice to meet organizational requirements.

Eligible candidates will have proven previous experience of working in a similar clerical role and office based environment, with an understanding of computer software packages, as well as a working knowledge of relevant common operating systems such as MS Windows and be able to evidence a high degree of personal responsibility, attention to detail and resilience.
