The scheme operates between Monday and Friday and provides staff with the opportunity to manage their personal commitments with their work commitments. After a brief period of office based training in the role and subject to satisfactory performance you will also be able to take advantage of an agile working package should you have the desire to work for the organisation in an agile capacity.

In return West Yorkshire Police wishes to employ a committed, enthusiastic, customer focussed and motivated professional candidate within the Force’s busy and vibrant Purchasing Team within the centralised Finance Department. The successful candidate will provide an efficient and comprehensive requisition, ordering and invoicing service with regard to goods and services supplied to the Force and requested by members of the Force.

To be considered for this post the successful applicant must have:

A basic knowledge of e-Procurement and Finance systems.
A basic Knowledge of office systems and procedures.
A knowledge of and the ability to operate computer systems such as Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
Previous experience of working within a customer service environment will be advantageous.
