The Regional Organised Crime Unit are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to fill the role of a Researcher within the Regional Organised Crime Unit, Wakefield.

Reporting to the Senior Analyst/Office Manager, you will work as part of a team of Analysts and Researchers to build a complete picture of serious and organised crime. As a researcher on this team, you will provide timely and accurate support to operational staff and will assist with serious and organised crime investigations. Specific duties include interrogating Local, Regional and National systems, creating intelligence packages and making enquiries with Law Enforcement Partners.

The ideal candidate will have experience within an intelligence environment and/or experience of research, excellent communication and written presentation skills, a proven ability to operate computerised database, an aptitude for problem solving and the ability to work under pressure to deadlines.

Management Vetting and SC in ROCU, and additional STRAP in SIU will be required.
